Yes, I bought into the idea that Hemingway may have used one. I agree too about Evernote. Very handy. Another solution is a FireFox plugin called Zotero. For portability, you would be running FireFox Portable from a USB drive that you can take computer to computer if you can't install Evernote. I love my Moleskine!
