A Twitter Short: “Death of a Mockingbird”
I just posted my Twitter story, which I’ve decided to call Death of a Mockingbird, for reasons that are all too obvious once you read the story (which has no mockingbirds in it!).
The story is my entry in Copyblogger’s Twitter story contest, which I wrote about (along with a brief introduction to Twitter yesterday.
Update:One of the downsides to Twitter is that, despite how mazingly fun and even useful it can be, it’s not very stable. It’s gone down a couple of times in the last couple days! Given that, I decided that it might be best if I posted my Twitter story here rather than trust the link to it on Twitter above.

That summer I met Old Man Radley, who lived in that old house over on Oak. Gave me this wooden carving of a girl. A few days later, he died.
