Taking a Short Break
Life.
It has a way of sneaking up on you, doesn’t it?
I’m going to take a short break from The Writer’s Technology Companion. Not more than a week or so, just long enough to rethink some things.
I have enough posts to keep this site on auto-pilot for a while, but I’m starting to think about the direction of the site and how I want to keep growing. Mainly, I’m thinking I should broaden the focus of the site to include general writing productivity advice, the kind of stuff I write at Lifehack only targeted directly to writers.
Before I dive into that, though, I want to think out how best to make the change — and whether I can sustain it over the course of several months to a year. I’ll probably limit myself to lighter posting than usual for a couple of weeks while I’m working up ideas for the new direction.
I’m not abandoning the current topics, though. In fact, I have some great stuff still “in the pipe” regardless of how I decide to move forward.
IF there’s a topic you’d like to see me cover here, let me know either in the comments or by email. This is your site, too — I want to make sure that both of us get as much out of it as we can.
See you in a little while!
